    Oil to Heat Pump Affordability Program (OHPA)

    Free direct installation of a cold-climate heat pump for income-eligible homeowners currently heating with oil. Combined federal and provincial funding covers the full cost — valued up to $25,000.

    Requirements:

    • Currently heating with oil (must show 500L+ purchase in last 12 months)
    • Household income at or below area median
    • Must decommission oil tank
    • Ontario pathway: direct installation at no cost to homeowner

    Enbridge Home Winterproofing Program

    No-cost energy upgrades for income-eligible Enbridge gas customers, including insulation, draft-proofing, and smart thermostats.

    • Must be an Enbridge gas customer
    • Income-eligible household
    • Includes insulation, draft-proofing, smart thermostats

    Home Renovation Savings — Assessment Program

    Envelope rebates for insulation, windows, doors, and air sealing. Requires pre and post EnerGuide energy assessments.

    • Attic insulation up to $1,500
    • Foundation insulation up to $2,300
    • Exterior walls up to $3,600
    • Windows & doors $100/opening

    Better Homes Ottawa Loan Program

    Low-interest and 0% interest loans up to $125,000 for energy-efficient home upgrades, plus Ottawa-specific heat pump incentives.
